Mythical Japanese forest spirits that inhabit ancient trees. If a Kodama  tree is cut down it is said the spirit will also die and they will heavily curse anyone who harms their forest.

This is my interpretation of a Kodama  spirit in the loose form of a stag.

I would love to imagine they are protecting our beautiful forests now.

All prints are shipped flat mounted onto black backer board. They will be encased within a thin plastic sleeve to protect ink. I try to use all eco friendly materials.
